Google Video/YouTubeのコンテンツをiPodへ
Googleで検索すればいくつも出てくるけど、ここでは私が設定した内容をメモしておく。
まず、FirefoxのアドオンであるVidedownloaderを使って、FirefoxからビデオコンテンツをFLVでダウンロードする。
FLVとしてダウンロードしたコンテンツはFLV Playerで見ることができる。入れておいても損はないが、最終的にはiTunesに登録するので、特に入れなくても良い。
最後に携帯動画変換君で変換し、iTunesに登録する（自動でiTunesに登録される）。
ところで、最初はGoogle VideoおよびYouTubeのコンテンツのiPodへの転送ということでこれを書いていたが、Google Videoでは最初からMPEG4でのダウンロードができるものもあるようだ。そういえば、アップロード時にダウンロードの可否を選択できたと思うが、そこでダウンロード可にしておくと、Google Video PlayerかiPod/PSP（MPEG4）のいずれかのフォーマットでダウンロードできるようだ（あとでちゃんと読んでみる）。
WMVファイルをiTunes/iPodに登録するのに困っていたが、一度、Google Videoにアップロードしてから上の方法を使うというのもあることに気づいた。もちろん著作権が関係するコンテンツはダメだし、アップロードとダウンロードを行うことになるので、ファイルサイズ次第では現実的ではない。ただ、インターネットにも公開することを考えているWMVならば、そんなに非現実的なオプションではないだろう。
FirefoxのロケーションバーでのWeb検索
日本語版を入れるとYahoo!になっている。やだ。
ここのコメント欄から次のようにすればよいことがわかる。
日本語版とかJLPを入れてる場合はabout:confugでkeyword.URLがデフォルトで
下記になっています。
http://search.yahoo.co.jp/search?ei=UTF-8&p=
これを次のように書き換えると多分Googleの I'm Feeling Lucky で
検索されるようになり、該当ページが一発で開くようになると思います。

これでスッキリ。
Firefox 2.0のSSL
ぴあに登録してあるカードの有効期限が切れているので、カード情報を更新してくれと連絡が来た。Firefoxで該当のサイトに行ってみると、
警告 - サイトがFirefoxで有効になっていないセキュリティプロトコル
を使用しているため、＊＊＊と安全に通信できません。
と表示され、アクセスできない。
調べてみると、このサイトはSSL RSA RC4 40bits MD5を使っているようだ。Firefoxのメニューからは対応する暗号の変更はできないので、ロケーションバーにabout:configと入力し、そこでsecurity.ssl3.rsa_rc4_40_md5をFalseからTrueに変更する。これでアクセスできるようになる。

仕切りなおし
転職したのを契機にシステムを構築しなおすことにした。自宅で使っているマシンと会社で使っているマシン、それぞれについて紹介し、どのような用途のものとするか、それぞれにどのような設定を施していくかを書くこととする。
依然として、主に自分への備忘録としての役割が強いことは変わらず。

Perlの設定
ActivePerl
ActiveStateのActivePerlをインストール。
http://www.activestate.com/Products/Download/Download.plex?id=ActivePerl から。
なぜかMSIではインストールできなかったので、AS Packageをダウンロードし、ZIPの中からsetup.batを起動。
PAR
PLをEXEに変換するPARを使うため、PARのセットアップ。
http://hamachiya.com/junk/memo_PAR.htmlを参考にする。
PPMを使って以下のように行う。

これでインストールは完了。簡単。
ppの使い方も簡単。

（＊ c:\perl\bin（私の環境の場合）がPATHに含まれている必要がある。）
WWW:Google:PageRank
GoogleのPageRankを取得するモジュール。
http://search.cpan.org/~ykar/WWW-Google-PageRank/lib/WWW/Google/PageRank.pm から入手。
c:\perl\site\lib\wwwにGoogleというディレクトリを作り、そこに展開（PageRank.pmという名前）。
それでOK。

Microsoft Script Debugger
Microsoft Script Debuggerをインストール。ダウンロード先を探してしまった。結局、microsoft.com内を検索して、ここを発見。

Etherealのインストール
久しぶりにEtherealをインストールした。WinPcapは相変わらず必要（そりゃそうだ）。Etherealのインストーラの中に組み込まれていた。知らないで個別に先にインストールしてしまっていた。
WinPcapは3.1を、Etherealは0.99.0をインストール。

MSN Messenger 7.0でトラックポイントのセンタースクロールボタンが動作しない問題の解決策。
Operaでのウルトラナビによるセンタースクロールボタンを有効にするにはに書かれているように、%SystemRoot%\System32\tp4table.datに以下の行を書いて、システムを再起動することで解決。

なんかぎくしゃくする気がするが、まぁいいや。
